appearance
details
height: 5'5"
build: Lean but strong legs
hair color: Brown
eye color: Brown
Bunny carries herself with confidence and grace, her movements quickly giving her away as a dancer. While her movements are controlled, she doesn't seem overly fussed about her appearance. Generally she dresses casually, in jeans and simple tops or athleisure, but not the super nice stuff. Most of her clothes, if examined, show mends to normal wear and tear, and it's likely you've never seen her in anything new. Her hair is typically down and left to its own devices - it's wavy on its own and nice enough looking, she figures. Simple make-up and simple jewelry are common accents, enough to help her look put together but not enough to draw too much attention to them.

personality
Bunny is like some weird mix of a pushy mom friend and a lieutenant - she wants what's best for you, but she's just as happy to tell you what's best as she is to put your own plans in motion for you. There's a part of her that thrives in trying to put right to chaos, be it in her own life or in others', so she loves to have a problem presented to her to fix. Where she doesn't like chaos is in her space; rooms should be neat and tidy and things should be organized, but life itself? It's messy and complex and presents a million opportunities to take charge and bend the universe to your will. Who wouldn't want to do that? It's not a surprise that she's confident and straight-forward, and often very opinionated, and it's also no surprise that she can sometimes be a little blunt. This bluntness, though, comes from a good place, a desire to be honest, so occasionally she can soften her touch to spare feelings, though she'd always rather go the direct route if it's available to her and won't burn too many bridges.

As someone who wants to help others, it's not surprising that she believes in loyalty, but being burned by her family means that her implementation of loyalty is somewhat faulty and may seem fickle. She wants to be a good friend, but if she feels as though she's been seriously wronged she has no problem cutting ties. To her credit, she doesn't take too many things hard and believes that people, in general, don't intend to do wrong, but she is often less understanding of wrongs perpetrated on others and is quick to suggest to those close to her that they should cut out people in their lives who are problematic. Bunny is rather unsentimental, both about things and relationships, and thinks Marie Kondo-ing both is healthy and important.

Forthcoming with her opinions, Bunny is less so with personal details. Some of her things are laid bare simply by being in school with her: she's a ballet dancer, she likes astronomy, she's interested in becoming a lawyer, she likes organization. But why she never talks about her family? Calmly brushed off. What her deep hopes and fears are? Well, no one needs to know that. Happy to listen to secrets and keep them, she is somewhat suspicious that others will extend her the same courtesy, and anyway it's better to not get so close if it could just go south, anyway. In that vein, Bunny prefers to take care of herself and often resists care from others - she's got this, and relying on others can be risky.

Being private doesn't mean she's a stick in the mud, though. Bunny loves to go to parties, to hang out with friends, to explore town. She's especially easily coaxed by the opportunity to dance, but she'll often be the first to leave the party in the name of sleep and responsibility. She's also very controlled with her drinking, knowing she can have fun without much or any, and letting go of that sort of control of herself just seems like a recipe for disaster.

interests likes: Astronomy, ballet, dancing in general, mending, doing laundry (especially folding), organizing, stargazing, spicy food, milkshakes, bunnies (even though sometimes she hates her name)

dislikes: Spiders, her family, arguments about money, being pushed to share about herself, rom-coms, too much butter on popcorn, a messy room
school life
grade: Junior

major: Astronomy
minor: Pre-Law

classes: 6
core class: Philosophy

activities: Kappa Eta Lambda Phi, Dance Club, Server at Le Parloir
skills
Spanish: Fluent - she grew up in a bilingual household and acted in a Spanish-language tv show.

Acting: Bunny has no interest in going back into acting, but she is decent at it. She could probably use some fine tuning, especially since it's been a few years, but if you watch her show (over her dead body) you'll see that she's always been competent at portraying emotions and delivering her lines clearly and with good timing.

Dance: Primarily ballet - her show was a passion project so the director was very serious about having the main character, a ballet dancer, actually be able to do ballet. Bunny had taken some classes when she was younger just for fun, but once she got the part she was put into more rigorous classes and improved dramatically. She'll never be in a proper ballet company, but she's better than you'd think. She enjoys other forms of dance but is not trained in anything else.

Household Tasks: Bunny likes to take care of herself and likes to have an organized home life, so she's made sure she's well-informed and capable when it comes to household chores. She's good at getting stains out of things, mending, basic cooking, basic handyman tasks, and knowing little tricks like rubbing walnuts on wood scratches.
history
family Sofia Blanco - Mother - Fussy and obsessed with her family being successful, Sofia knew Bunny could be a star if she just tried hard enough. Felt a little bad about spending all her money. A long long time ago her family was rich which has made her think she's owed that life by the universe. Constantly running some MLM.
Roman Blanco - Father - Equally obsessed with his family being successful, but feels significantly less bad about spending Bunny's earnings. She owes them, after all - they raised her! Honestly makes ok money at his desk job at an insurance company, but it's not enough and never will be.
Estranged from her entire family.
history
Bunny Blake, originally named Belita Blanco, was born in Miami, FL, and only got about one and a half years of an uneventful life before she was 'discovered' at a mall by a small-time casting director. Her mother, overjoyed that her child could potentially be a ticket to a better life for her family, was quick to sign her to the director and get her acting career started. It was surprisingly successful - Belita was cast in commercials and bit parts in various tv shows. This wasn't enough for Sofia and Roman, though, who both craved true success, and they both vowed to improve Belita's chances. She was five, for god's sake, and hadn't been cast in a movie! With their eyes on the prize, they legally changed Belita Blanco's name to Bunny Blake, and prayed that such a cute name would make her more marketable. The name change came with a host of other adjustments - dance, martial arts, music, singing, ice skating for one year. Almost everything she did was intended to improve her chances of making it big.

The name change and the classes didn't pay dividends immediately, but even so, at age 13, Bunny finally got her Big Break. An eccentric writer and director, known for his truly off-the-wall telanovelas, was dipping his toes into the tween market, and he wanted Bunny to star in his new pet project tv series. Titled Pequeña Bailarina de la Luna, Bunny would be the titular ballerina, living on a space station in the not too distant future, dealing with normal teenager problems (along with some space stuff, too). Bunny was enrolled in intensive ballet classes to build up her foundation (her parents knew those classes would pay off one day!), pulled into home schooling, and after a year of preparation they started shooting.

While it didn't gain much success in the US, South America found Pequeña Bailarina to be bizarre but endearing, and Bunny earned a comfortable sum for her work. She didn't have to worry about managing that, though - her parents were taking care of it! Or so she thought. Busy traveling to shooting locations and trying to keep herself where she should be in school, Bunny didn't have much time to keep track of what was going on at home. When the show wound down as Bunny approached the age of 18, she started considering college, and in considering college talked to her parents about her college fund and her savings. It was then that she discovered that they'd spent nearly all her money on frivolous things - jewelry and nice clothes and fancy meals out. Having been busy (and trusting her parents), she'd never noticed the extra extravagance, much to her horror. Her relationship with her parents had always been a little fractured because of long stints away from home and their pressure to be successful, so it wasn't as hard as it could have been for Bunny to cut them out of her lives.

And cut them out she did - she moved out quickly after learning this and stayed with a costar until she finished up school and was accepted into college. Hopestill had a lot of things going for it - a good astronomy program, a generous scholarship waiting for her, and it was about as far away from Miami as she could get. She accepted and moved to Washington, and has been scraping by ever since. Over the summers she works jobs that give her a place to live, and little by little she's been saving. It seemed like she was going to make it through four years without any more excitement in her life. But then, of course, she was called into the Velvet Room.

BATTLE STATS

(Link)

character
name: Bunny Blake

squad: Squad 3
squad position: Second

weapon: Spurs
combat style: Bunny's weapon necessitates that she's in the middle of the fray, but that suits her just fine. Calm in the middle of chaos, Bunny is quick and precise in the execution of her attacks and uses her Persona's Mind abilities to augment the strength of her hits. She's thoughtful about engaging, though, not one to just rush in before she should, but when it's time, it's time. She can be protective of her teammates but not to a fault - someone getting a bit scuffed up isn't reason for her to leap into harm's way, but if it looks like they're truly in danger she'll take a hit meant for someone else. She trusts herself and her ability to take damage more than she does others, in most cases. She wraps her hands on the off chance she needs to hit something, but generally she relies on her feet to do damage.

name: Lesath - x

appearance: Lesath is kinetic, changing shape at will to fit the situation, though it is always some sort of animal. Each form has swirls to their shape and an overly smooth coat with no individual pieces of fur, and they're always some shade of blue all over, stylized creatures that are too large and too fluid in their dancer-like movements. Once it's in a shape Lesath is firmly solid, but in between forms it dissolves into a cluster of stars before slowly starting to take shape like a 3D constellation, lines actively being drawn between the stars as though the persona is thoughtfully plotting out its own shape piece by piece. At rest, Lesath seems most comfortable as a rabbit that's about the size of a large dog.
